Using the squares on the grid paper, approximate the X and Y location of the bird\'s centroid

Solution

As the bird is symmetric about the line at angle of 45 degrees from both the axes, so centroid will be on that line.

Centre of that line is at the intersection of 11th vertical line from left and 10th horizontal line from the bottom. Now the wings are spreaded little upwards so centroid should be slightly upward . So approximately at intersection of 9th vertical from left and 8th horizontal from bottom line.
