We say evolution is driven by natural selection where weaker
We say evolution is driven by natural selection, where weaker organisms die off. But what creates weaker and stronger asexual organisms in the first place, outside of the pressures of selection? Also, how can we speed along this process? (provide an example)
Solution
Yes the evolution is driven by natural selection where are the survival of the fittest is the ultimate goal. The organisms which are not able to adapt themselves to the changing environment not able to compete for food with other animals or species fail to continue the species and cease to exist. In the same way as asexual organisms also cease to exist if they are not able to adapt to the changing environment. It can be seen in the case of bacteria growing in the laboratory. Drug resistant bacteria survive in the presence of antibiotics and the ones which are sensitive to the antibiotics are killed.
