1) q1 = -3.2 uC q 2 = 5.9uC     x2 = 0.066m

since both the charges are aligned along x axis the total force is along x axis

              Fx = k q1 q2 / x^2 , k = 8.98 * 10^9 N m2 /C2

                   = 38.921 N is the force q2 exerts on q1 which is attractive in nature

2 ) The new value of the x component F´

                               F ´ = cos(q) Fx         q = tan^-1 (0.037/ 0.066) = 29.275

                                    = cos(29.275) 38.921

                                    = 33.939 N
