Define matter and energy then the two types of energySolutio
Solution
Matter: It is any substance which has a definite mass and occupies space. Matter exits in states or simply we can say as phases which are solid, liquid and gaseous phase. As well as it also exists in plasma conditions. The subatomis particles such as electrons, neutrons and protons can also be considered as matter.
Energy: It is the capacity of the system to do work. The standard unit of energy is Joule (J). There are two main forms of energy which are potential energy and kinetic energy. Energy can neither be destroyed nor can be created but can be converted from one form to another. Potential energy: It is an energy which is stored in a system. A stationary object in gravitational field can be considered as an example of potential energy. Kinetic energy: Kinetic energy is observed in an object which is in motion or a moving object. The falling of an object under gravitational force is said to posses kinetic energy.
