as Mx is parallel to CB using basic proportionality theorem DM/DC = DX/Db = MX/CB opposite sides are equal in a parallelogram !!! : DM/ 6 = 1/2 As diagonals bisect each other in a prallelogram => DX = BX : DM = 3 cm
