a) The output response y(t) is obtained by multiplying corresponding gain H(w) for the given input frequency
The frequencies in the input signal given is w=0,2,4,5,6,out of which,4,5 is in between 3.5 <w< 5.5
so y(t)=0*3+0*2 sin(2t) -0.5*4 cos(4t+45o)+0.5*5 sin(5t)- 0*8 cos(6t-75o)
y(t)=-2 cos(4t+45o)+2.5 sin(5t)
