The force exerted will be given by mv^2/r (R being the length of the arm. M the mass of the cylinder. V the velocity)
V = 1.4 rad/s
M = 6lb
R = 4/cos 25 =4.4 ft
F = 6 * 1.96/ 4.4 = 2.672 lb/ft-s^2
