The Presto Hot Dogger is an example of a classic electrical device that claimed to be able to cook six hotdogs in 60 second. For project #11 would like for you to do the following: Draw a complete schematic of the hot dogger connected to its power source. Show all significant circuit elements and their values. Estimate the time it would take to heat six hot dog to a safe temperature.

  Solution
a) Below diagram shows hot dogger connected to power source
Electricity comes from out let first it goes to dimmer and passes through the dimmer switch before flowing to the SPDT momentary push button switch. By connecting between the normally open (NO) and COM pins of the switch, current flows switch is on goes to hot dog back to outlet the lamp is connected in parallel with hot dog
B) Preheat the unit for 10 minutes and allow the grill to heat up to 90°. Place hot dogs on the grill and cook until they achieve a minimum internal temperature of 63°.It will take 15 minutes time to cook
