Workdone = F.d = F*d*cos A

the work done by gravity W = mgy when the object is moved downward,

W = -mgy when it is moved upward,

and W = zero when it is moved horizontally.

in given situation y = 1 m

W = 5.7*9.81*1 = 55.917 J

work does not depend on path so

W1 = W2 = 55.917 J

As you can see workdone is proportional to mass of block, so if we increase the mass of the block then work done by gravity will increase.
