what would be the response to selection values for both traits? If given the inital parent popualtion for trait 1 has a mean of 2.405 and trait 2 has a mean of 5.545. In the selected popualtions trait 1 had a mean of 3.144 and trait 2 had a mean of 3.818.

I have calculated the selection differental (parent sleced- parent inial) for trait 1 as 0.739 and trait 2 as -1.272.

the selection value for trait 1= mean is first case-mean in second case=2.405-3.144=>-0.739

the selection value for trait 2=mean in first case-mean in second case=5.545-3.818=>1.727
