     Light bulbs A and B are identical in all ways except B has a thicker filament. When the bulbs are connected to identical voltage sources... bulb A is brightest because it has the least resistance. bulb B is brightest because it has the least resistance. bulb A is brightest because it has the most resistance. bulb B is brightest because it has the least resistance. the bulbs have the same brightness. Explain your response in the space provided.

  Solution
Brightness depends on energy consumption per second.
P = V*I = V^2/R
Now the thick filament offers less resistance than the thin one,
you can think about thick one as numerous thin filaments over and over(means parallel connection) means less resistance.
So bulb with less resistance will use more power and hence the brightest bulb.
Correct option is B
Bulb B is brights because it has least resistance
