Solution

------------------------------------------------Part-2------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all, i will solve 2ndPart of this question:

According to given data, \"Rust State Roof tile\" is being used, which has a unit weight=5.8lb/ft2

So, in order to evalute the total weight of the roof,we will have to evalute:

Step1: evaluate the total area of the roof- as horizontal width is provided in the question, which is 22ft.(total width)

the half width of the roof tile according to the diagram is 11ft.,so applying little bit of Trignometry in this,we will get the inclined width of the roof:

cos(150)= (11ft.)/(inclined width)

inclined width= (11ft.)/cos(15)=11.388ft.

therefore, the total area of the roof will become,

AREA,A=2*11.388*40=911.04ft2 (here 40ft.is the depth already given in the question)

Step2: Finding total weight of the roof:

the total weight of the roof can be obtained by simply multiplying the total area(A) with the unit weight of the roof.

Therefore the total weight of the roof is:

weight,W=5.8*911.04=5284.032 lb

Step 3: converting the lb to ton: The total weight obtained above can be converted to ton by simply dividing the calculated weight by 2000,which comes out to be:

Weight(in ton)= 5284.032/2000 = 2.642 ton

---------------------------------------------------------------Part-1-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The dead load will be 90 lbs as the worker is an moving object, hence the worker will be live load.
