Darwin was not the first to consider evolution as a process
Solution
The Darwin\'s theory of natural selection says that the various species of organisms are born and they arise and finally develop through the process of natural selection which involves the selection of small, inherited variations. These variations help to increase the individual\'s ability to compete, survive, and reproduce and help the life to evolve and continue.
According to Darwin, An organ is able to develop further or degenerate only because of continuous variations.
.Moreover the Struggle for existence is very important in this theory.
On the other hand Lamarck\'s theory does not consider struggle for existence.,It also allows the acquired characters to be inherited to the next generation .
The evidence is the evolution of man through monkey and ape.By various variations which are inherited the early man has evolved into a proper man beginning from a monkey and by survival of the fittest by natural selection.
