Finally, in the last condition, participants did not see any poster on the laboratory wall. During the study. the researcher recorded how many seconds the participants delivered mild shock to another participant who was actually a research confederate while they were completing a computer task together. The following is the data set. Greater numbers indicate that the participants delivered mild shock longer. suggestion greater aggression.

The effect of poster, therefore, was highly significant, F(2,21) = 13.60, p<. 05.
