Regiocentric orientation – In this approach, the operational strategies of a firm is formulated on the basis of each region rather than the country.

Geocentric orientation – A firm using this approach uses global approach of production and operation.

Polycentric orientation – In this approach, operational activities of a firm varies on the basis of different countries. As per this approach, each country is treated as a separate entity. Therefore, operational strategies for each country vary as per their economic, political, and cultural requirements.
