Find the center, foci, and vertices ot the ellipse. 81x^2 + y^2 - 810x + 1944 = 0

81x^2 +y^2 -810x +1944 =0

81(x^2 -10x ) +y^2 +1944 =0

81(x^2 -10x +25 -25 ) +y^2 +1944 =0

81(x -5)^2 + y^2 -81 =0

81(x-5)^2 +y^2 =81

(x-5)^2 /1 + y^2/81 =1

Centre ( 5 , 0 )

a^2 = 81---> a = 9

b^2 = 1 ----> b =1

c^2 = a^2 - b^2 = 81 -1 = 80

c = +/- sqrt(80)

Foci ( 5, -c) and (5 , c) = (5, -sqrt80) and ( 5, sqrt80)

vertices = (5, -a) and (5, a) = ( 5, -9 ) and (5 , 9)
