1. Firstly,we are provided with the client requirement,which includes the cost of the project and other project related information,than our team analyses the type of project and activities which are to be performed for the completion of project, the project is further divided into phases which are to be computerc in fixed duration of time.
2- there are various types of estimate forms which are usually used by most of the contractor\'s,they are as follows-
a.) Preliminary or approximate or rough estimate
b.) Detailed estimate
c.) Quantity estimate or quantity survey
3- basically,a count of all the materials in a project,is konown as \"quantity takeoff\". Usually,before the start of the project,we just list out all the elements which are required in the project, than after finalising all the elements,we start contacting various suppliers for the cost,we then select best possible supplier for that particular product. Similarly,we contact various suppliers for various elements and after finalising of the supplier, we finally takeoof the quantity.
4- Usually,we use autodesk software for quantity takeoff. Its gives all the details of quantity takeoff in a very precise manner.
5- The prices are obtained from various suppliers in rough estimate, all the prices are than compared and best suitable supplier is selected and than final negotiation is done.
After doing all this,we finally make an excel sheet which contains all the elements and their prices.
6- General conditions of the contract usually contains all the project terms and conditions,deadline,requirements of the client and other information. Since, the client will always think to get his work completed in less money, so, when the General conditions are released by the client,the contractor after reading and analysing the same, than the contract is accepted only if the terms are negotiable or accepted by the contractor.
7- These are the cost which are incurred by the contractor that are not associated with the particular project,but really are necessary to support the contractor\'s operation as a whole.
8- the profit are estimated before the start of the project. The capital required for the completion should be less than the project cost,so as to make the profit. This analysis is done by yhe company during the estimation itself.
