I will choose Apple Inc. which is the most valuable brand in the mobile market. The company has market reach across all geographies including US, Europe, Asia. They have significant market loyalty and dominance position , but it can not be considered as monopoly due to the existence of various other companies providing mobile and other hardware. It operate in Monoplostic competition with the most premium brand image and high quality as compared to other competitors.
Apple never compete on price as they continue to sell at earning high margins, while, their competitors such as Samsung, HTC, Motorola charge lower prices ,earn less margins. Apple is not a conglomerate. There is no recent merger or acquistions.Apple has high market power being the biggest company with high sales volume. There are no anti trust issues except some legal battels over patents with samsung etc.
