So, Avg Rate of change = ( h(4) -h(-1) )/( 4 - (-1) )

h(4) = 4^2 +4*4 = 32 ; h(-1 ) = 1-4 =-3

Avg Rate of change = ( 32 - (-3) )/( 4 - (-1) )
