ANOVA - Analysis of Variance

A). Experimental layout: The layout of an experiment refers to the physical arrangement of experimental units in space. Experimental layouts can be either completely randomized or blocked arrangements.

(B). Hypothesis: New pesticide developed will have a detrimental effect when it comes in contact with a specific plant.

(C). Treatment levels: Treatment must be done at 3 levels for every 2 weaks continuously.

(D). Number of replicates: Replicates are multiple experimental runs with the same factor settings (levels). They are subjected to the same sources of variability, independently of each other. Here we can replicate combinations of factor levels, groups of factor level combinations, or entire designs.We test for all combinations of factor levels, one replicate of our entire design will have 8 runs. Our experiment is not so costly, so we can run it for atleast 3 times. This is a prediction model hence multiple replicates can be applicable.
