Provide an example application domain in which sequentially accessed files are well suited to the problem. Your domain should illustrate that in some cases the information must be randomly accessed, yet at other times it must be sequentially accessed.

Solution

If we are watching a movie or listening a song, then we are more interested in the sequentially accessed files rather randomly accessed files. However, there are cases, when we want to want the scene or change the song, then we want random access to happen. But the majority of the time is spend in sequencial access of the files. However, both are needed at different information needs and time.
