Solution
In 1831 the first cases of Cholera was reported in England. Dr. Snow believed that the sewage dumped in to the river or pools near town wells could contaminated the water supply which results in wide spread of disease.
He performed experiments to proove this. He observed people who drink contaminated water and people who drink pump water which is clean. It was found tha the people drank contaminated water became ill.
He studied samples of water from the river and found white flicks floating in it, which he believed were source of contamination, but he couldn\'t prove it.
In 1883,Robert Koch searched the cause of cholera and isolated the bacterium Vibrio cholerae.
Dr Koch determined that it is stread only through unsanitory water or food supply not by person to person.
