The question, “Tell me about yourself” may be asked because it is relatively an easier one to answer and hence you may feel at ease and remain the same all through the interw. It may be asked the interwar may want to know how much you really know about yourself or it may also be asked when the interwar requires some time to go your application/bio-data, before he can start asking you various other questions that are relavent to you and your background.
Remember that your answer to this question should cover all educational details very briefly and if you are working…your work interms of name of the company,your designation and what you do. And you should talk about your achievements either in your acadamics or in work or both.Then you can add few details about what types of person you are and your likes, dislikes, etc. Giving details about your family background is not compulsory. Before interview frame a good answer and practice in front of a mirror.

This is the most important question of your interview because he must answer this question favorably in is own mind before you will be hired. So help him out! Walk through each of the position’s requirements as you understand them, and follow each with a reason why you meet that requirement so well.

Your strengths align with the company’s needs.You can do the job and perform like very effectivel. You are the best person for the job — no need to hold out for someone better. You hav e qualities, skills, and/or experience that set you apart from the competition. You are someone who will make an excellent addition to the team.
4.What are your weaknesses?
Do NOT mention key weaknesses here. This is not the place to say you are bad at meeting deadlines or you never mastered highschool mathematics etc. Turn this question around to your benefit. For example, you are \'over ambitious\' or \'extremely attentive to detail\' or \'like to take on too many projects\'. Make it sound positive.
