Why does pregnancy in prison represent special challenges for the inmate as well as the correctional facilities? Please describe the challenges for BOTH inmate and facility.

They also require ongoing gynecological and obstetrical care and support, and programs are necessary for miscarriages, premature birth, and deliveries.
Providing them ligher work assingnments and special diets than the other inmates may turn out to be a point of conflict between the authorities and other inmates.
So the pregnant inmate has to compromise on the quality of food and the environment where they are staying also it is not always possible to get gynecological and obstetrical care and support on time.
