Using the plot plan below a Complete the following tasks on
Solution
a) since the scale is given 1 inches is equal to 30 feet. Student is required to make each measurement and calculate actual dimension by multiplying the dimension on the paper ..
let us say the distance on paper b/w west property line ad buiding is x on the paper x inches
then actual distance would be .. 30*x feets
b) similiar procedure is suggested to be followed as given in ans(a)
c) to calculate the angle following procedure to be followed ...
i) measure lengths of north property line and south property line .. let us assume values are N and S respectively
ii)measure length o east property line ... lets assume value to be E
d) assuming angle to be theta between north and east propertly line .. 20\'x25\' in the drawing ..
by trigonometry cos (theta) = east property length /( north property length - south property length )
theta = cos^-1(east property length /( north property length - south property length ))
iv) for the last part place the shed of ( rectangle )
i) scale them down -- 20\'x25\' = (20/30)\'\'x(25/30)\'\' on paper
ii) place the rectangle such that it satisfies the setback criteria mentioned in part d) of the question
