About 25% of the volume of the nucleus is the; nucleolus. This structure comprises of the proteins and ribonucleic acids (RNA). Its main function is to; rewrite ribosomal RNA i.e. rRNA and combine it with proteins. Hence the precise location where most of the rRNA is transcribed is the nucleolus. This leads to the formation of incomplete ribosomes; as proteins combine with it.
