Work breakdown structure is used by the project managers to plan their work in an effective way. It helps to plan the work schedule, costs, and functional activities of a plan. An organizational structure should be break down as per the hierarchical tree structure, chain of command or line of communication. Each level of structure is broken into project deliverables or objectives.
