We covered a number of areas related to discrete mathematics: counting, permutations and combinations, propositionsl logic, inductive proofs, recursive function theory, graphs. I personally enjoy the topic of recursive function theory and inductive proofs. Beginning with simple, basic comcepts, one can build up complex systems. Recursive functions played a significant role in the coding the virtual blackboard, where we are able to display rather complex mathematical expressions.
