Consider the sinusoids v_1(t) = 10 cos (200 t + 86 degree) V and v_2(t) = 8 sin (200 t + 10 degree) V Determine the time in ms, t_d, by which v_2(t) is delayed with respect to v_1(t).

Solution

From the two equations you observe that Wt = 200t

so 2pi*f= 200

so frequency f = 200/2pi

f= 31.83 hertz

but we want time period Td = 1/f

So Td= 31.41 millisec

Td= 31.41 msec
