Complete the following frequency table. Show work.
I\'m thinking that the missing freqiency is 12 and the relative frequency would be 3/8 = .0375. I\'m just having a hard time showing the math on how that\'s calculated. Please let me know if that is a correct solution and if so, what math/formula is needed to get to it. Thanks
| Test Score Interval | Frequency | Relative Frequency |
| 40-49 | 1 | 1/32 = 0.03125 |
| 50-59 | 2 | 1/16 = 0.0625 |
| 60-69 | 5 | 5/32 = 0.15625 |
| 70-79 | ||
| 80-89 | 8 | 1/4 = 0.25 |
| 90-100 | 4 | 1/8 = 0.125 |
Solution
Yes, the missing frequency is 12. From first row, 1/32 = 0.03215, which means that sum of frequencies is 32
This means that the missing frequency is 32-1-2-5-8-4 = 12
And missing relative frequency is 12/32 = 0.375
