Let time taken by Samantha to do it alone be T hours.
Then as per the information given in the question, time taken by Logan to do it alone be 3T hours as Samantha is 3 times as faster as logan.
Therefore, we can write it as:
1/T + 1/3T = 1/45
(3 + 1)/ 3T = 1/45
4/3T = 1/45
3T/4 = 45
T = 45*4/3
T = 60 minutes
Therefore, time taken by Samantha alone be 60 minutes
and time taken by Logan alone be 3*60 = 180 minutes
