Type of injury : The injury is caused in the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. As a result of this, bleeding occurs due to damage the vascular tissues i.e the blood vessels in these layers of the skin.The platelets,macrophages, mast cells and neutrophils together function to control the bleeding and the inflammation process in the vascular tissue.
