There were 200 patients in a survey. Each was given two separate tests, one more blood cholesterol and one for blood sugar. It was found that 45 patients tested positive for blood cholesterol. Of them, 25 tested positive for blood sugar. There were altogether 60 patients who tested positive for blood sugar. Then Test at 5% level if your prescribed ratio is correct.

Solution

Given information is,

Total patients in survey = 200

each was given two tests one for blood cholesterol and another for blood sugar

positive blood cholesterol patients = 45

positive blood suger patients = 25

who tested positive for blood sugar patients = 60

test at 5% level = 5 * 100

= 500

= ratio - (B.C + B.S) / who tested positive B.S

= 500 - (45 + 25) / 60

= 500 - (70) / 60

= 430/60

= 7.1

= 7 * 10

= 70

= B.S + B.S + T. B.S + ratio

=45 + 25 + 60 + 70

= 200

There were 200 patients in a survey. Each was given two separate tests, one more blood cholesterol and one for blood sugar. It was found that 45 patients tested
