Solution

For first protein the tyrosine and tryptophan numer per 100 residue will be

toatal 3 tyrosine present in 130 residues so

3/130*100= 2.30 per 100 residue

toatal 6 tryptophan present in 130 residues so

6/130*100= 4.60  per 100 residue

For bovine serum Albumin the total no of amino acid is 584

Total tyrosine present is 18 so

18/584*100= 3.08 per 100 residue

only two tryptophan so

2/584*100=0.34 per 100 residues

For each of the three proteins calculate the number of tyrosines per 100 residues and the number of tryptophans per 100 residues. ignore second part of question
