how many complete bicycle can we make from 69 frames, 24 front wheels, 33 rear wheels, 31 pedals, 64 sets of handlebars, 27 bike chains, 6.0*10^1 front brakes, and 74 rear brakes?

Solution

i)

1 Set of each of the Frames, Front Wheels, Rear Wheels, Handlebars , Bike chains Front Brakes and Rear Brakes are needed to make one complete cycle.

There are 69 frames, 24 front wheels, 33 rear wheels, 64 sets of handlebars, 27 bike chains, 6.0*10^1=60 front brakes, and 74 rear brakes

Therefore, maximum number of cycles that can be made from the above inventory is the Minimum Value chosen from above which is 24

ii)

The pedals are attached in pairs to the bicyle. Since no of Pedals are 31, therefore, maximum no of pairs that can be formed from 31 pairs are 15.

Therefore, the no of bicyles need to be further be reduced to 15 from 24

Hence, the answer is No of Bicylces is that can be formed from the inventory is 15

how many complete bicycle can we make from 69 frames, 24 front wheels, 33 rear wheels, 31 pedals, 64 sets of handlebars, 27 bike chains, 6.0*10^1 front brakes,
