Ans- a) The flow lines at the downstream do not end perpendicular to the equipotential surface. While in a flow net, flow lines are always perpendicular to equipotential lines.
b) The equipotential lines do not end perpendicular to the flow line at the base which is formed by the impermeable layer at the base. While in a flow net, flow lines are always perpendicular to equipotential lines.
c) The flow line profile under the impermeable clay is wrong. It will not follow the path as shown.
d) The last flow line which touches the impermeable layer at the bottom is wrong because two flow lines cannot intersect or touch each other. A flow line will be there at the bottom impermeable layer. Thus they cannot be touched.
e) Also all flow feilds are not perfect squares. It is compulsory for a correct flow net to have the flow feild either as square or rectangle with length/width ratio constant for all flow feilds.
