I Im doing my application to transfer into a 4 years college

I- I\'m doing my application to transfer into a 4 years college and my major is: first choice \" mechanical engineer\" and the second choice is :\"Materials engineer \" I have to write an essay (about 2000 words) in a good form and content about the topic:

What interests you about your selected program of study?

II-the second essay is about leadership skills snd the topic is:

\"The motto at \"Y-Tech college\" is leadership, progress and service. Describe how you have demonstrated this motto over the past three years. The essay has to be in a good form and content (about 2000 words)

Solution

about the first eassy \"why i want to be a mechanical engineer\" , I can give you outlines.

you can describe following points-

1. Mechanical enginering is a vast field. \" the mechanical engineers are engaged in making from a small parts like a needle to very big components like rocket and satelite.\"

2. The mechanical engineers are half manager besides being and engineer which makes them suitable for managemnet jobs as well.

3. They can work in multiple jobs like power plants, energy generation, automobile industry, manufacturing and production of components.

4. The best thing aout the mechanical engineering is that you can see what you are doing, means things are more observable and realted to practical life. For example, you as a software engineer you can\'t see the what the changes occuring inside cpu but in mechanical engineering , you can see.

These were the points which attract me towards mechnaical engineering , specially point no 1 and 4. Thats why, i am an mechanical engineer instead of computer engineer.
