Putting all these value in equation (1)

Total outflow or Leakage O = 11.2 inches = 11.2/12 = 0.93333 ft
Pool Cross section Area = 20 ft x 20 ft
A = 400 ft2
Hence total volume of water leakage out = 400 x 0.9333 = 373.33 ft3 (in 10 Days)
Therefore The Average Daily Leakage Out = 373.33 / 10 = 37.333 ft3/day (Answer)
