eople who play different roles in a software project need differing kinds of status reports concerning product attributes. Customer : Customer are the business people for a project who basicaly would be willing to see the progress we have got so far (status reports are usually based on some timeframe like weekly, monthly etc). So basically how much growth we have done in a week to get that exact production sight, the sucess, failures , blockages so that those could be removed going further.

Project Manager : Project Manager who runs the project and make sure that every delivery is in place in time and if there is any delay then report of it why delay and what have we progressed so far.They would be interested in knowing the complete details from each role/area, like developer, tester, designer and if something is blocked/dependent then where and why so that it could be resolved.Also they use this report to feedback in customer.

Designers: Designers are people who prepares the flow which will implemented by developers to fulfill a functionality. So basically they would require report what infrastructure, storage we are using and how much load it can handle so that they could design the journey accordingly.

Programmers : They are the one who actually sits and write the code to run the required functionality and they would require the report about what are the task and how much is required by one and could it be solved in given timeframe.

Tester : They test the functionality developed to make sure that it runs without any error in production environment.

They would require report of inputs and cases reuiqred and we can say business cases/requirement to make sure the functionality developed has been checked against every possible condition.
