This glucagon is going to trigger glycogenolysis into glucose for cell metabolic activity. Finally, circulating glucose is going to raise to near-maximal intensities due to cAMP-dependent -adrenergic stimulation of glycogenolysis. Lipolysis is going to increase in the fasted state with endurance exercise. The secretion insulin increases during the fed state, which helps to reduce the blood glucose levels. Whereas, the effects produced by glucagon are opposite to insulin. So, these hormones act antagonistic to one another to maintain homeostasis. During the fasting, the hormone glucagon secretion increases, which increases the glycolysis and gluconeogenesis to maintain the blood glucose levels.
