Lower Power Objective- It is the second smallest or the smallest lens available for a microscope. It does not magnify an object to a great extent it just make it ten time larger. usually people use it for observing the field or counting cell number.
Lower Power Objective- It is the second largest lens available (40X) for a microscope. It magnifies an object to a great extent it makes it fourty time larger. usually people use it for observing internal structure of the cell such as muscle striations and retinal nerve cells.
Oil immersion objective- It is the largest lens available (100X) for a microscope. It magnifies an object to a great extent it makes it hundred time larger. It is used to achieve greater clarity of an image at high magnification. Oil prevents light from bending and distorting the image of an object under study
