Therefore AB=3 too

And area of triangle= 1/2 bh

b=6 and h=3

Therefore area=1/2(6*3)=9

Area of triangle ABD=9

And are of triangle ABC=1/2(3*3)=4.5

Therefore area of triangle ACD=area of triangle ABD - area of triangle ABC=4.5 square units
