Images of the deities portray them as the supreme power. They all fought against Asura or the Demons. They all have some or other kind of Astra or weapons to fight. Trishula being supreme and most powerful weapon. Another common thing they all have is they all have a Vahana i.e vehicle of gods and these vahanas all are animals.
