Describe the differences in the appearance of the sterile tube of Tryptic soy broth and the one in which microorganisms are growing. Do the same for the slants.

  Solution
Uninoculated or sterile Tryptic soy broth appears light amber and clear with no precipitates. If microorganisms are growing in the broth, then it appears turbid with visible precipitates or flocculates. Trypticase soy broth is an enrichment medium. It cannot be used for growing fastidious organisms.
Sterile slants appear clear without any visible colonies. Whereas if microbes are growing, then the colonies of the microbes can be seen on the slant.
