so we can see that any error in measuring \'d\' and \'L\' will attract the the error of power 3. So main source of error for this experiment is (length of the bar, L) and (depth of the bar, d)
Main source of the error in oscillation method (if we are finding rigidity of modulus of a wire by dynamical method) is measuring the radius of the cylinder, as it is fourth power in the relation. Any error measuring the radius will contribute the error to its fourth power.
