The number of concrete samples to be tested for each mix are decided on the basis of volume of concrete work.

For quantity of work between 0-5m³ , one sample is required for testing, for quantity of concrete work between 6-15m³ , two samples are required.Similarly work between 16-30 m³ , three samples are required. For 31-50m³ , four samples are required for testing and if the quantity of concrete work is above 50 m³ , four plus one additional samples are required for each 50 m³ or part thereof.
