This figure explain the software development process.I will explain from the top block.each step will explain each block

step 1:

Initially all the software development starts from exploration of concept which is nothing but development of need or the requirements.these explorations will serve as a baseline for the feasibility of project.Finally the outcome is the preparation of requirement statement

step 2:system exploration:we do this step to obtain a very high quality design and product.The outcome of this step is system interface specification

step 3:now we take the requirement statement and analyse it.so that it will help and help the design the proces.which is done later.So finally we prepare software requirement specification which is basically a document which is used to prepare designs

step4:we prepare a design using software requirement specification,.This design involves various kinds of representations in the form of diagrams,which will be explaining the logic and implementation of each features or concept used in software development.The outcome of this step is various software design descriptions

step 5: now we develop the code for each and every diagram or design specifications .we analyze programming language based on the type and diagram.the language which is most efficient is used.This is decided by designs.we develop code for each functionaly test it and once all modules are ready,we integrate modules and retest it.once everything is ok.entire system is validated using vaarious tests.

step 6:once implemetation is over,we install it and check how it works in limited set of people.find furtur problems by validation and correct them and then release for large customers

step 7: now we give support to customers and prepare documentation.

step 8: we keep on updating on small changes in the maintenece phase to help the customer by making softwrae more and more user friendly.finally prepare mainteneance report or documentation

step 9:Finally we put the software out of service after giving many updates and look for alternate ones which are much more efficient .This is done in retirement phase
