Explain how it’s not the voltage that will kill you but the current. Why don’t you feel a jolt when you touch the poles of a car’s 12-volt battery, which can supply up to 200 amperes of current when the car is initially started?

YEs, it is the current that causes heart to stop and death.

a few mA of current is suffciecient is , that passes throught the heart.

and voltage difference initiate to flow of current in bodies. human body skin have high
resistance. so current flow I = V/R ( R is hight for human skin)

so current through skin will be less as we touch 12 V battery.

it supply 200 amp current when resistance is low. (12/200= 0.06 ohm) but sking has hight

resistance.

(if we touch it by tongue and tongue have sking have small resistance so current flow will be
high, then it can do some damage )
