Baroreceptors are stretch-sensitive fibers, their output increases with stretch or increased pressure. Action potential i.e. change in electric potential is created when a cell depolarizes to the threshold. Depolarization results from a net influx of positively charged ions or efflux of negatively charged ions, so the most likely ion is sodium ion. As the membrane potential is increased positively charged sodium ions (Na+) makes entry into the cell.
