Write a six- to eight-page paper identifying and describing your personal action plan with goals that you will use to become more aware of environmental issues and human impact on the environment. Create a specific personal plan with three goals and related action steps that describe what you personally will do to help preserve and protect the environment. This plan should outline ongoing, personal action steps – something to happen in the future, not something already accomplished.
Solution
Environmental problem - climate change:
Human impacts on environmental change:
1. Severe industrial revolution
2. Higher use of automobiles and release high leves of lead contents into the atmosphere
3. High human metabolic activity to release CO2
4. Urbanization & deforestation
5. Burning of fossil fules
Green house effect is potentially due to higher level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. This CO2 retains and avoids reflecting radiation of sun light fallen onto biosphere back so that more heat developed on the earth surface due to severe retaining of sun light finally global warming or green house effect finally climate change. Industrial revolution causes various releases of various factors such as poisonous gases, \"aromatic oil spills into the atmosphere\" and releases sulphur & phosphate containing contaminants into the soil & water resources result in climate change. Finally, harmful microbial species can use these materials as carbon source for their growth in water etc. and contaminate into the human consuming food materials result in \"development of communicable disease & expands from one host to another via vectors (disease transmission by drinking contaminated water).
Combustion of fossil fuels are predominantly produce green house gases such carbon dioxide, methane, and carbon monoxide. These gases can be absorbed by the natural cycles of the ecosystem and can affect both local and global ecosystems. This is because, ocean is the biggest sink of CO2 thereby this fossil fuel gas reduces the dissolved oxygen level in the ocean followed by reduced level of oxygen to respiration activity to the organisms living inside the aquatic ecosystem result in death and extinction of these organisms. These fossil fuel gases used by anerobic decomposers to decompose and in excess concentration these microbes may face lethal toxic levels result in inappropriate carbon bio-geocycles associated with elevated levels of CO2 in the local ecosystem result in climate change. These gases also cause changes in Elnino and Lnino effects of ecosystem. These gases also cause respiratory diseases in humans and acid rains.
Ocean is the biggest sink for carbon dioxide at the coastal region. Whereas at the continental regions, only plants are the major sources of absorbing the carbon dioxide or monoxide derives. The carbon dioxide is the major greenhouse gas responsible for the global warming followed by climate change. Thereby at the coastal region the amount of the carbon dioxide will be very less in the atmosphere there by the climate change will be very less and colder and predominantly fresh air inhaled. Policy option should make in addressing water resources with climate change and inventory practices and followed by implementing decision to meticulous adapt to different climates as per social-economic decision. Policy option should make to address climate change in sea level; Policy option should make to address climate change by deforestation. Policy options should to address climate change due to variability in ecosystem and understanding public about the possible dangerous hazards and risks associated with climate change.
Future policies needed to avoid environmental change: three goals and related action steps that describe what you personally will do to help preserve and protect the environment.
Reforestation and plantation (ongoing plan)
Controlling of industrial pollution and release of sewage into the air and water
Policy option should make in addressing water resources with climate change and inventory practices and followed by implementing decision to meticulous adapt to different climates as per social-economic decision.
